City Series: San Diego is a community-first tournament series where quality matters — from the courts you play on to the people who run the show: Tournaments that showcase how vibrant of a pickleball community we have here in San Diego.
Each event is hosted in San Diego, and led by experienced directors who keep things organized, fair, and fun. Whether you're competitive or just out to enjoy a day on the courts, you'll feel right at home.
With an ongoing leaderboard, cool prizes, and a welcoming crowd, the City Series: San Diego isn’t just a tournament — it’s your new favorite way to play.

City Series San Diego Format
10+ Tournaments per calendar year (2025 Schedule below), including The San Diego Open, as well as Mid and Year-End Invitationals
Leaderboard (How it Works)

Players earn points at every tournament based on both performance and participation. (See the point accrual table below.)

Points are tracked individually (not as a doubles team) and remain valid for 12 months—so stay active and climb the leaderboard all year long!

Based on your Main Court Rating for Event #1, you remain eligible to compete at that level or higher through December 31, 2025.
Mid and Year-End Invitationals: Gear Up for Glory!

The top 16 players in each division will earn an automatic invitation to the Invitationals.

This event features a rotating partner format, where players team up with different partners throughout the competition to determine the City Series: San Diego Champion. Top finishers will earn gear packages from top brands, including Joola, Gearbox, and Selkirk, along with ultimate bragging rights.
